As others have said, well done B&O! Great to hear!

This is an interesting thread. I bought one of the later 9300's in 2000 (with the matt finish and later CD mechanism), and it was probably my favorite B&O system I've owned. Unfortunately, I've since sold it, but wish I had kept it! My 5500 system may be a tie though, for my favorite system. On the other hand, there aren't many B&O
Nice bio. Considering he may be at the helm in the future, I would also be interested in hearing what he has to say.
Yeah, me too. I wonder what other B&O products he has worked on/designed?

Would the BS8's work on the US's 120v power?
I was told yes, but if not - i'd either supply a power converter or buy a brand new US spec model. Lee
That's awesome Lee! I plan to become a Gold member this year.
The Beosystem 7000 is the ultimate remote control system made by B&O (for the moment!) The Beosystem 8000 (I know it is called the Beolab 8000 but that is confusing!) is probably the best sounding. The flexibility of the 7000 has never been better and the multi-room control with the Beolink 7000 is simply the best

If you like the 6500/7000 system, I wouldn't hesitate for minute to go for one! It's one of my favorite B&O systems of all time. If you do get one, one suggestion that may help, is to take all of the pieces to a good service technician (unless you want to do it yourself), and have any "normal" maintenance performed. For example
