Most stuff can be converted easily. I have one connected to a Beolit 1000 power source (Beopower). However, once you get in to the powered beolab speakers that draw a lot of current, you will need huge converters and they will not become practical at this point. For example, you wouldn't want to run BL5s off of a converter

There is no real difference between the BL 7-2 and 7-6, other than size. The 7-6 is huge and will look funny on a TV smaller than 60" I would think. As far as the sound metering, it is sad that B&O's BS3 doesn't have something like Audessey to help set the speaker levels and distance/etc automatically.

I would love some BL9s or 5s, but there is no way my wife would let me get them either. She barely put up with the BL3s I have in one room, and thins the BL8000s look like rockets. Maybe if I had a space ship theme....
