He "relisted" the B&W speaker he had from before probably to save time, which left the B&W brand on it. Anyway, the nice thing about ebay (for BUYERS) is that if you pay via paypal it is almost impossible to get truly scammed. You will get your money back.

I think the response was reasonable because there will certainly not be any BL 7000 going for just $107 in the end of the auction. Anyway, I currently have (located in the USA) a Beolink 7000 that is in perfect working order with table charger that I would let go for what I paid for it at $475 USD plus whatever shipping is. Currently my BS9500 is in

It works fine. I have 4 older ones mounted in my house

Most stuff can be converted easily. I have one connected to a Beolit 1000 power source (Beopower). However, once you get in to the powered beolab speakers that draw a lot of current, you will need huge converters and they will not become practical at this point. For example, you wouldn't want to run BL5s off of a converter

There is no real difference between the BL 7-2 and 7-6, other than size. The 7-6 is huge and will look funny on a TV smaller than 60" I would think. As far as the sound metering, it is sad that B&O's BS3 doesn't have something like Audessey to help set the speaker levels and distance/etc automatically.

Hi Jamian I hope someone here does chime in to help. As of today over 100 people had viewed it but no one is posting...the forums here aren't as active as they used to be and helpful responses aren't as forthcoming. To answer your other question yes I have the Beovox 2500s like the one's in my avatar. I have a complete Beolab 5000 system

Hi Jamian, Guess who's cona you bought? Glad you got it safely and I hope you are satisfied with your purchase. These are great forums so I will let others answer your questions. I didn't really have the type of system appropriate for the Cona and wish I could help you more, but there are plenty of folks here who can tell you exactly how to

soundproof: Thanks for the reminder. I do indeed have it and have been enjoying it very much, although my time is limited these days it seems. I will definitely have to post some pictures of it soon. The black color is amazing and Frede has done an incredible job. Unfortunately, you have set the bar very high with your photography so not just any picture

I would love some BL9s or 5s, but there is no way my wife would let me get them either. She barely put up with the BL3s I have in one room, and thins the BL8000s look like rockets. Maybe if I had a space ship theme....

[quote user="mbee"] @macjonny : I was talking about 3D technology, not screen technology, so saying that LG passive sets are not good because they are edge-lit panels doesn't makes any sense : passive tech is more expensive, so for a "normal" price they can't sell both full LED and passive 3D (they are LG, not B&O!).
