I even tried connecting the adapter directly to the unit and still no power. Do you think the only way for it to work is as shown in the manual going thru the junction box?

I just purchased a used BeoTalk 1200 but can not power it up. Is there any tricks to turn on the unit? also... the wire going to the answering machine is it a regular tel. wire (after the junction of the power line & Tel. Line)? TIA. BeoDoc

HI everyone, I am new to this forum but for years enjoyed the B&O brand. I just purchased a used BeoTalk 1200 but unable to power on the unit. The included adapter is Input: 120v 60Hz 7 W, ootput: 7.5 DC 500 mA. Is this the right adapter? can someone with the same unit post the adapter info. or a picture? TIA, BeoDoc
