I agree that lack of bass and power (dynamics) is a real drag on the BL8000. Right now IMO the B&O speaker range lacks the perfect combination between sound quality and looks: the BL5/9 might sound great but I will probably never get used to their (ugly?) design. Okay, So far I have narrowed the problem down to the display circuit board(s) of the speaker. Are there any typical issues on the circuit boards to check? The connectors between the boards are intact, the LDR functions properly when measured and there is no visible damage on the circuit board traces. Dear all, I have spent several hours (nights) studying the existing posts about miscellaneous display problems regarding the Penta. Yet none has provided the solution. I have a pair of Beolab Penta MkII's, acquired from their first owner (superb overall condition!) One of the displays is working, although fairly dim, the other one is out. So far

Ok, The previously mentioned problem occured again. The set was once again unplugged for a longer period but this time at normal room temperature. Now the telly has been blinking for seven hours (minus 3x5min unplugged inbetween) and won't switch on at all. Has anyone had the same kind of problem with their BV7 or any suggestion what to do? How do you select PC on an old Beo4? PC is not listed under the ADD items on my Beo4 since the remote is rather old. No other command (i.e. V.Aux, V.Tape, V.Tape2 - even combined with SHIFT) seems to select PC on the Beovision 7 neither does it recognise the connected computer automatically. Any ideas?
