Hiya I'm a novice at this but will pass on what has worked for me on a pair of rosewood speakers and various other teak pieces. None have been that badly damaged but all have had some surface imperfections, marks, scratches and general fading/dry wood. After cleaning off any actual dirt, I've had some great results from only applying some butchers

Afternoon all I got a faulty Beogram 6006 as part of a Beosystem 6000 that I recently acqired and wanted to ask whether or not it was worth fixing? After I first plugged it in, it didn’t come on immediately, but came to life whilst I was fiddling with the compartment lid (which has come away from its hinge). It then wouldn’t turn, but after

Many thanks to everyone for their quick and informative replies - very helpful indeed! I still can't get the cover off the bottom to see if it's got the IR board installed - at some point it's been removed and then jammed back in so the runners on the cover are wedged under the main casing, not slid on properly. I'm a complete novice with things like this but understand this could be the belts and that these are reasonably easy to

Hi all I also have a teak Beomaster 1200 for sale. I've only just bought this but a recently acquired Beosystem 6000 means I have to make some room for the sake of my marriage! It's in reasonable cosmetic condition and operationally it all works OK and sounds good. It still has the wire stands on the bottom (I'm not sure if this a particularly

Hi all I have a teak Beocenter 2600 for sale. It's in good condition cosmetically with one (non-major) mark on the top of the veneer - see photos below. It is also in good working order - the main FM tuner and presets all work fine, the AFC works, the tuning/stereo signal LEDs all work and MW and LW also work fine. The buttons for MW and LW are

Afternoon all I've just picked up a whole Beosystem 6000 and have a few questions. I've scoured the forums for answers before posting but a few questions remain unanswered, so I'd really appreciate some wise words (as I'm a novice to all of this) – sorry for posting all at once – someone please tell me if I’d be better
