No problems with the server - my BM1 is playing netradio witout any problems. when you reinstall Beoport, are you prompted to registrer again with your username and password? I did a recovery a few times, and every time I had to reinstall beoplayer in order to registrer my user again during the installation process, otherwise it said " not registered"

I tried to update iE but never suceeded...maybe that was lucky. I think you can either do a recovery or install another browser - or both. If you do a recovery you take BM1 back to the original shape without deleting music or photos. I use Google chrome to browse on the internet. It does not work througt the "WEB" menu, but I choose the service

I finally got the keyboard software installed. I copied the missing files from another XP computer as you suggested, and now i'm able to costumize the buttons on the DiNovo mini. I'm looking forward to hear more about your own experiments with the Beomedia... Martin

You are correct about the software versions. Nice to see, that B&O actually are sending out updated for the Beomedia! I allso had problems to update Windows media player, but I just noticed today that it is updated to a newer version - maybe it comes together with some of the other browers like Google Chrome, firefox or Opera

I'm allso playing around with my Beomedia (thanks god for recovery) but not as hardcore as you guys. The Windows XP embedded OS has given me some problems with drivers, updates and so on. Do you know if its possible to update the OS to a full version of Windows XP without destroying the functionality of the Beomedia?

Well, I think that "morons" are a very hard word, because I love the way the Beomedia works...except from the web. Now I have installed Google Chrome as my default browser, and when I use it througt the service menu, it works okay. Chrome works fine, and IE 6 promts to be default browser on startup as you mentioned (but is not allowed). It's

I'm not sure, if Firefox or any other browser except from IE will work througt the main "Web" menu on the Beomedia, but of cource I can use it througt the "service" menu like a normal browser. I'll give it a try... Thanks
