  • Re: BEO5 write timeout

No, the Hub will not make a difference in this case. Only if you have initial problems with the connection.

That, if you see the message 'USB Device Not Recogniced' in a balloon message (in the area at the clock) then it is normal.

  • Re: BEO5 write timeout

If you have a Beo6, this will give you the "balloons" with error messages during the upload. The upload is handled differently from Beo5 and uses some kind of bootloader. The message appear when the Beo6 reboot after flashing.

  • Re: BEO5 write timeout

Sorry for the misunderstanding... From practice I have seen a computer with it's own USB connector not able to register with a Beo5, was able to do it when I used a Hub between them. I guess that the Hub makes some kind of changes to voltage levels or timing.

I think the USB version is 1.1 A USB hub is a device that expands a single USB port into several so that there are more ports available to connect devices to a host system. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USB_hub

I agree, try to find the 4.11 version somewhere. You configuration is not to big, 345 Kbytes is less than 2 Mega bytes. It is important that your USB wire between the computer and the Beo5 is not to long. It is possible to get a very short adaptor from Normal USB to mini USB. You can also try to use an USB hub between the computer and the Beo5. Some

I will try to help you, but I need some more information: What version are your Tool? Does this happen each time you download and you have liftet and repositioned your remote? How big is your configuration? You can see some details when you are finalizing... Are you using a Beo5 as suggested in subject or are you using a Beo6? The transfer method is

  • Re: This Forum area is not useful

I must agree with the point that if resources are low, then it's a better idea to use English as common communication language. I would prefer to have this sub forum split in to two separate sub forums: One for General questions and answers and one for request for other product control. I attend to answer as many questions as possible; but I guess

  • Re: Beo 5 Software - should I get it updated.

Hi Stoobie, if you want to make custom screens, this is possible. When a level is completely free of buttons it's possible to change the screen type. A free level can be created by making a button with submenu. You can also move all buttons to the clipboard, but be careful with this, it may crash you configuration. Load old version is a good feature
