Hello! I started working on a compatible DVD Controller. So far I can decode all the data on PIN8 of the AV and V.TAPE on my beosystem 2. The beosystem 2 sends about 50 commands that have a prefix of the source (DVD, V.MEM (or V.TAPE), V.AUX). The IR learning routine can handle most IR remotes (Philips RC5, Sony SIRCS, Nec, Samsung, Panasonic). I am

I have fixed the board. The ST24C02 serial eeprom (the one with the PIN security system) was corrupted and I managed to rebuild the information in it. I think that mains power failed at exactly the same time as the CPU was writing a new PIN code in the eeprom or a timestamp and the CPU wrote only part of the data. Regards, Andrei

Hello! Can someone tell me what has changed in the firmware for Beosound 3000 from version 3.1 to version 3.4 (which I think is the latest) and for Beosystem 2 mk 1 from version 1.4 to version 1.6? Did the V.TAPE and A.TAPE labels change to V.MEM and A.MEM? Regards, Andrei

Hello! It is the one from the Beosystem 2 I bought on e-bay and that didn't work (almost) at all. http://forum.beoworld.org/forums/t/25636.aspx I used the PCB from my Beosound 3000 and the firmware and eeprom from the Beosystem 2 and Beosystem 2 started without a problem. I used the PCB from the Beosystem 2 in the Beosound 3000 (swapping firmware

I need a functional uPH8 microcomputer printed circuit board (PCB) from a Beosound 3000 or a Beosystem 2 or a Beovison Avant or Beovision 5 or any other B&O device that uses this processor board. This board is called PCB 06 in the Beosystem and Beovision and PCB3 in the Beosound service manuals. On the back side the PCB has the code B6143024

Hello! I managed to hook an IR eye from a beolink active to the BeoLink PC2. Check my other posts. I was wondering if you are willing to test the connection in my post on your Beosystem. I tried to use the same IR eye with my Beosystem 2 and it didn't work. However, my Beosystem 2 is (almost dead). I'll check if the connections are the same
