  • Re: How to connect 4 speakers, Audio and Video the right way?

whatever you do include Cat6 (or even better cat7 which is able to carry HD single as I understand it) in the conduit. Will cost you pennies today but you will be so happy you have done it tomorrow.

The first three digits are 213. They don't lock up when the sych cable is installed. They appear to work fine except the volume is unsychronized. I have an approved synch cable so not sure what it could be. any help would be welcome Philip

  • Beolab 5 Sych problem any ideas

I just took delivery of a brand new set of Beolab 5. They sound great hooked up to a Sonos streaming lossless files directly via the coax output. However the speakers dont volume sych even though a proper cable is installed between them. There are no powerlink or line in cables attached I believe I have set them up properly (ie for a non b&o system

  • Re: Best Beo5 programer in London

I have a BS3, BV4 with the following plugged in: Apple TV, Sky HD, Blue Ray player (not decided yet which manufacturer) and Sonos. Link TV in another room BC6. Not sure that qualifies as complicated. Do you guys think a normal dealer can do it? I have read such horror stories Thanks for the advice

  • Best Beo5 programer in London

I want to buy a Beo5 remote and want a very good programmer based in the London area. Does anyone have advice on either a programer or a dealer that has done a very good job best

  • Re: BeoCenter 3 driving 2 screens in two rooms. (1 BV4 and 1 BV8/6)

I am still somewhat confused. Seems like there are three potential ways to go: 1) Run the second screen through the normal RF/Masterlink set up. Cons: No HD, Sky HD doesn't seem to work with new software update 2) Use a second screen and 3 new speakers. Two for R/L and one for Center. Cons: You will essentially have five speakers in a very small

  • Re: Best Blu-ray Player

One question that has not been answered in any of these posts is do the PUC codes work equally well. The Dennon is clearly a fantastic machine but has anyone actually used one with the B&O PUC codes? The same for the Panasonic and Sony machines. Finally, is anyone having issues with decoding the new HD formats?

For the second room I assume you have the 3 speakers set up as L/R and Center. Do you know if you can select a speaker to be normal Stereo (ie L/R 2.1 sound not 5.1 sound) so you could just get two speakers not three. (the second room I want to run is small and I just need a small tv) For the IR receivers does the two way switch need to be toggled to

Can anyone else confirm if this would work. Video out of DVI port #2 (the one usually used for projector) and audio out via masterlink? Alternatively does anyone know if the BS3 will downscale HD sources before it sends them out over masterlink or will it just show a blank screen? best
