My other wise perfectly functioning Beousound 3 (radio shaped like amilk karton) stopped responding tomy commands. I have tried to remove battery and dc suply in order to "reset" it, but is still does not work - I cannot activate the radio og get the antenna up. I am about to buy a Beovision AV 9000. The main purpose is that I am fascinated by the two way communication. Thus the question is: Do you get all the benefits out of the Beolink 5000 when using it with a Beovision AV 9000? At some stage in time the AV 9000 was modified to work with a Beo 4 - the million dollar question is which AV9000 type numbers

My MX700 has SW4.3 and is thus one way. I am in the proces of down grading it to a 1.2 SW version which will once again make it two-way. By down grading I mean simply switch the Eprom - I am getting the right Eprom from another helpfull member of this forum. However, I do have one question - how to I switch between one-way and two-way mode on my Beolink5000

Thank you - you (that is "PhilLondon, formerly Wtlc2zpx ") do indeed sound sure. The problem I anticiapate is, that there is no DVD button om my Beolink 5000 - does that not constitute an issue? Which button should I use instead? Regards Christian

1) I got my fingers in a brand new (10 years old - but new in box) Beolink 5000. The reason for choosing this remote is that I have a Beocenter2300 and two LC2's. But will this remote operate a B&O DVD1? 2) Presently I do not own a DVD1. But I just got one offered at a price of I just got DVD1 offered for 300 Euros. Is that too much? The price
