Var försiktigt i all fall

  • Re: Link TV basics, help?
4. The main advantage for having a second STB on the BV6 would be to have a second HD source.
Or even just for SD - while the link system only distributes composite video modulated on an RF carrier, a direct SCART connection from an STB would be in RGB and much better picture quality. One good reason for having

Printed Circuit Board, the plate where all the components sit on and where the membrane makes contact. Don't overdo the alcohol - just a damp cloth, no soaking.

  • Re: Yellow slide rules

To me, it looks like those clips will take maybe 10 removal / installation cycles before one of them snaps off. Then the cover won't stay in place and gets lost...

  • Re: Beolink 1000 problem

Gee, I feel like a regular Sherlock now! Looking at the remote, all the video source buttons (TEXT also works as one) seem to be on the same column. I guess there could be some surface leakage on the PCB due to dirt or corrosion that will eventually cause the remote to register a click there, or perhaps one of the membrane switches is a bit "lazy"

  • Re: Beolink 1000 problem

Then my money is on the theory that the remote somehow switches to video mode by itself... perhaps one of the video source buttons (TV/SAT/V.TAPE) is somehow sticking? Do you have any B&O video equipment? If not, the next time the remote acts up, try the digicam trick. Aim the transmitter end to a digital camera / camera phone and look at the preview

  • Re: It would be nice for B&O to have this!!!! Watch!!!!!!
Seems rather fragile. It also looks like this product is trying to be three other products: a laptop, a tablet computer and a screen. Nice enough from a conceptual point of view, but I can't see the point...
And you can rule out the laptop - that full size touch keyboard will be totally unusable (and probably

  • Re: THE most addicting game I've ever played!!!!

Quite a blatant Pingu Throw ripoff, but still amused me enough to reach 901.1 m (BTW for some reason I only got a black placeholder for the game, until I had the idea of right-clicking on it and selecting "Play" from the Flash menu)

  • Re: Beomaster 5500 mute

Do you hear anything happening with the relay when you try to mute/unmute the sound? (use the remote to avoid the front panel click from masking the sound) If not, I believe the switch in the headphone socket is somehow stuck/shorted and the Beomaster now thinks there's a plug inserted all the time. If you haven't owned the Beomaster since new
