Guy, If you want the extra features of the Beotalk 1200, you may wish to consider just changing the module in your Beotalk 1100. There is just one module in the unit and the spares are still available for the Beotalk 1200. The module for the Beotalk 1200 for the UK has a part number of 8000804 and is available from the B&O dealer for around £90

The AV button will be available unless your dealer has deleted it or hidden it, if they have just hidden it, you can un-hide it yourself by going into the SETUP menu. To see how to do that follow the instructions in the Beo5 FAQ HERE By default, if the dealer uses the configuration tool normally, then the AV button will be available

Jean-Sebastien, In my view, if you intend to purchase an AVANT you should go for a 32" DVD version which is Type numbers 844X for the Mark I version and the EU version (Non UK) is Type 8446. The Mark II version is 845X. These two versions use the same software. The Mark III version of the AVANT 32" DVD is type number is 846X and in Belgium

This is not going to be a problem with the tube unless one of the tube grids is pulling down one of the voltage supplies which seems unlikely. This problem is more likely to be a fault in the "Sync Seperator" circuit which removes the line sync pulses from the combined picture & sync information which in turn sync's the horizontal
