I know for a fact that there is a difference in listening with a BC2 as opposed to a BS4. The BC2 can be annoyingly sensitive - the CD's must be in perfect condition in order to play without skipping. I've had minimal issues with CD playback with the BS4, i even plays some of my old and abused discs without qualms. Happy customer!

Is it possible to replace the casing of the beosound 2? There are scratches and i am not sure how else you'd be able to get the Beosound 2 looking gorgeous again, Cheers

Alex: No, not by quite a long shot, sadly. Oh thats good news for me! The BV7 is really pricey, but we can afford an AVANT RF 32" or BV3 32"... if we can find one for sale here in Oz This difference in picture quality would obviously make the current LCD screens, form over function would it not?

The buttons don't actually switch my BL4000 off! When i turn them on and off... well they don't turn on and off! No difference except for the pretty little lights being lit. When the music system is in standby, there is white noise from the spekears with the buttons off. When i 'turn them on', the noise is gone. When the music is playing
