Have not paid the Collins St store a visit in a while. I'd be interested to know the scale of the rennovation. Any significant changes making it worth a visit?
I was in Collins Street yesterday: it is always nice to see the ladies, but only Anna was in - they have a new young salesman as well. Hi & welcome, I have been an Australian customer of B&O since the mid-Seventies; I am a cautious buyer and the people in the stores know I take a long time to make my decision. They have always ben courteous and informative and spent long hours in discussions with me - in other hi-fi or electronics stores you never get that kind of service.

springbok is an antelope from Africa ... national symbol for South Africa ... and the name of some of their sporting teams ... but I am sure he means the skin of the animal and slip-covered means that the skin slides over the existing cushions - like a fitted sheet on a bed or a pillow case/slip on a pillow Ed~2, the ex-South African Elephant

I was searching for beoworld ... and spotted a google entry for this site which sells web analytics ... they appear to have some stats on Beoworld and about us http://www.quantcast.com/beoworld.org#demographics I was amused that apparently we are less affluent than the norm ... they must have measured my wallet after I ordered the BV7 ... :-)

Moxxey - I was told that the blueray would be able to be set for the DVD discs to be multi-region but not the Blueray discs that of course could be nonsense based upon your experiences

Performed some more B&O store tests today Took along another 3 pairs of eyes Looked at a BV8-40 ... got everyone's thumbs up Looked at a BV7-40 Mk III ... passed the TIMELINE tests Conclusion ? ... there is unfortunately variation between installations in various B&O stores ... the vote of the additional 3 pairs of eyes is for the BV8-40
