You need two pin DIN connectors for the speaker wire. The volume control issues are due to the clutches slipping - the mechanism is plastic and tends to bend - not one of the best designed mechanisms. Sometimes a bit of a clean can help but be careful as the plastic will be brittle. The top of the receiver swings up - there is even a stay inside to

Tricky to say as B&O obviously play their cards close to their chests, but the video processor is Pearlworks PW328B. Supposed to be a good one so I suppose decent components have something to do with it. The Avant was always supposed to have the best CRT picture for a 32" widescreen.

The phase link unit has a sticky doped surface as standard! Good luck in finding a new woofer.

I don't think anyone is ignoring you - your question rather got lost in this thread - to be honest, it is probably better to start a new thread if you have a particular query - a number of us trawl the site regularly looking for unanswered questions but if they are in the middle of a big thread, we can miss them. I apologise if you feel slighted

You did better than me! I have not had a response!!

Nice system - I have the same except a Beocord 2400. The Beogram is the most valauble bit and the Beomaster would be next. Condition is everything though. In perfect condition, the Beogram might get £200, the Beomaster up to £150 and the speakers (if S45-2s) £75, especially with stands. The Beocord is essentially worthless - appalling
-
Look at the service manual for the Beomaster 6500 - the MCP is in there. The B&O site does not have service manuals on it.

That is the correct type of plug - Maplin does then as well. Make sure the 1200 is working though! The next stage will be Beovox 1200s - should be available for almost nothing!
