  • Re: Beocenter 6-23 and DVI input

There is an HD ready kit available. Have a look at the 4 digit "Type" on the back which will tell us exact what you have got.

The DVI input on the Beocentre 6-23 MARK I is intended to receive digital or analogue graphics signals from a PC and supports 4 standard PC resolution formats. The DVI input does have a menu which will ONLY appear if you have connected a PC to the DVI input. The menu only allows you to adjust three items namely Brightness, Contrast and colour. If you

  • Re: Clock on Beolab 3500

Well Peter, your last answer is almost certainly the piece of data which tells us the cause of your problem, i.e. your unit is running version 1.0 of the software, let me explain The Beolab 3500 was first released as the LCS9000 with version 1.0 software, then the name was changed to Beolab 3500 with no changes to the unit or software. At that time

Yes, Beo-ap is correct, I am assuming you did have the clock switched on

Quim43, You statement is true if you have software version 2.0 or above. If it is below this version, then "Menu" is pressed once. The reason is that Version 2.0 introduced the "Timer" menu.

  • Re: Clock on Beolab 3500

Daniel, you could be correct. I do not know much about the Lexcom system, but I think the best way to determine if it is the cause is to take it out of the circuit. Peter, I would suggest taking the Beolab 3500 to within direct Masterlink cable length from the 6500 and testing it again. You can check the software version with a Beo4 following teh instructions

  • Re: Clock on Beolab 3500

True Daniel, but I am assuming this is not a new Beolab 3500, but once we know the software version, the picture will become clearer.

  • Re: Clock on Beolab 3500

Peter, Is the Beolab 3500 and the 6500 in the same room ? What version of software is running on your Beolab 3500. To see how to check look at my FAQ on the subject HERE Also do you have other Masterlink products connected, if so what are they ? If you don't have other Masterlink products, why do you have a converter ?

The clock works no matter if you are using Master Control Link (MCL) or Masterlink (ML) and it is not a function of the software version. What is a function of the software version is the Timer setup The master product provides the clock.

  • Re: Another Nigerian Scam?

Well, maybe or maybe not.. The University he is talking about is likely to be the mini-campus in Isale - Igbein right in the centre of Abeokuta , the Capital of Ogun State. There is really two points I noticed, first is the phone number starting 1 (702) yet the area code in that area is (234) and as far as I am aware Nigeria does not use Zip Codes.
