beoberlin: PhilLondon: Regarding the radio, it was said that 8000 radios where available, so it might be that most of the analog the radios you are listening to are available on the net as well. Regarding CDs... If you have a DVD player you can use it to play CDs that you have not ripped. If you have Cable TV or DVB-T, there are a lot of local radio

I would hate to spend this much on a media server and then have to start connecting external drives - do we know if the internal drive is replaceable with larger capacities?

saf: Strange, Plumber, that not even a single leftie commented. as with our right hand we fight we are not right when we fight for others' unwanted right! That's 'coz this leftie won't be buying one As pretty as it is (or not depending on your personal opinion) basically we are hearing all about a "pretty" box with a new navigation

B&O uses the same form factor as Beovision 9 have a space for the Beomedia 1 and the Beomaster 5 will fit in there. p. To Moxxey's point, a small "box" would have been much more attractive for the few people who don't have a BV9

Jandyt: Morning Puncher, you're up early! The price of the BM/BS5 won't prohibit me buying one. I'll get one after I get my Beolab 5s (in about thirty years on eBay) Andy T. Ey up mate! - do I sound like I'm on downer? ............... maybe. But I'm genuinely worried (I can't be an early adopter, its doubtful whether I would

My take on what's coming.................. The interface of the BS5 may well be magical (and I, for one, hope it is) but the guts is the BM5 which may well be hidden away but it needs to be 21st century! Most folk here already have a digital music archive (I'm just about to rip mine again, in a lossless format, which hopefully is the last time
-
As wonderful as the BS5 sounds can we try to glean some detail on the BM5 (features, connectivity, new masterlink capabilties etc.) as ultimately this will determine the performance of the system.
