  • Re: BeoSystem AV9000

The AV9000 was a fully integrated AV system consisting of the TV, the control panel and whatever speakers you wished to connect. The TV part was based on the MX6000 and is the same basic set with a few extra bits such as the stunning design & screen curtains. The audio part is called the AV9000 control panel and is based on the Ouverture system

wirralsimon: It's not always about your posting specifically. I was put onto moderation because of the work *** in the title of the ***iest speakers thread I responded to. As an experiment I am going to see what the system makes of the town Scunthorpe! Simon

I have to admit that your posting manners are exemplary Graham, I've asked van to check if there is anything I've missed

  • Re: Why am I moderated?

Hi Graham, I've noticed having to approve a couple of your posts in the past but don't know of any obvious reason as to why they have been put into the approval area. There is no "bar" on your account - as proved by this thread appearing without any intervention. All I can really say at the moment is the site "blocker" is

I don't see any reason why it cannot be signed on behalf of Beoworld by Lee Unless there are any strong objections? Chris.

  • Re: Connect a Beomaster 6500 to non-B&O speakers

Ignace is correct - this will set your Beomaster to the correct option for a stand alone item : ie not part of a linked B&O system. Are you sure the beolink 1000 is working? You can apparently test if it is giving a signal by looking at it through the camera function on a mobile phone whilst pressing any button - although I haven't tried this

  • Re: The worlds 15 se*iest speakers... ;)

I think the BL5's are the only ones here that live up to the billing - some of them I suspect only Prizedrawbot would find attractive Chris. EDIT:- due to the "S" word in the title I've had to edit it as the forum blocker dumps them into the awaiting approval area. Please bear this in mind when replying to this post as the same will

The speaker sockets at the rear of the 6500 are standard 2 pin DIN, the plugs (either solder or screw type) can be obtained from any electrical components retailer, when wiring the cables the positive connection is to the small round pole & negative to the flat spade. Alternatively, ready made speaker cables can be found on ebay. The beolink 1000

  • Re: TX2 and 5000

Hi Aaron & welcome to Beoworld, on the Beogram 5000 there is a small grub screw at the back of the tonearm pivot which adjusts the travel height. Be very careful though as a small adjustment will make quite a large difference. It's a while since I've worked on one of these but I believe a small clockwise turn will make the arm travel higher

Hi Sprocket, have they always done this or is it a recent problem? Chris.
