  • Re: BeoGram, SO many choices!

Oh thanks for the quick reply, ah yes i LOVE the look and philosophy of the 4000 series, but are they as good as the later models?? I'm wanting a hassle free setup (the later ones can be found all over the place), and i'm not wanting remote control. Would it be better to do what you suggest Peter, and get a seperate preamp? Or will that be too

  • BeoGram, SO many choices!

Is there any advice anyone can give me on my first purchase of a record player? I'm going to start a vinyl collection. I'm not sure which B&O is the best to get! I'm pretty sure i want one with the tangential arm mechanism and i plan to connect it to the AUX in of a BeoSound 4. The BeoGram 9500 / 4500 is beautiful, and obviously i'm

  • Re: Quality issue - with B&O...

Thankfully that sound is normal. The CD clamper incorporates a magnet in the middle that connects with the centre of the spindle when the clamper comes down. I'm not 100% sure what the purpose of this is, but it's clever! I think the other B&O CD systems have this feature as well... It may be to ensure that there is nothing rattling around

I have the stores Beosound 4 now, our's was carted away last night, but when we get it back i don't care if it has any more imperfections it's exhausting being so fussy! All i care about is that it works like all the others. We're really young (20yo&21yo) so when ya save up for ages and spend your entire surplus, it can be really

  • Re: Beoplayer!

That is your opinion, i found that beoplayer is REALLY nice to use. Very classy interface. iTunes, to me - is horrible. It's crude & sterile - like fluorescent lighting.

  • Re: What's playing RIGHT NOW?

Never never never (groove armada mix) - Dame Shirley Bassey VERY cruisey, sounds incredible on B&O, checkout her latest album. Sh#*ts all over Confessions On A Dancefloor from Madonna!

  • Beoplayer!

Hi i know this post should be in the general forum, but i really want to know an answer to this, as do all MAC owners! Will there ever be Beo software for mac? I really loved beoplayer when i had a pc, and it would just be fabulous if B&O were going to create a program for mac! Cheers for any replies, has anyone heard anything down the grapevine
