  • Re: two way remote for music

Agree with Peter. B&O picking one-way as standard some years ago is turning out to be less than ideal now, with the digital possibilities opening up. But it really depends upon what you want. Look at Apple's remote - no screen there. Apple has chosen to have its users interact with their computer screens and televisions, selecting albums, tracks

  • Re: Beolink wireless has been updated

Alex: BeoLink Wireless is great, but it's wireless. What is the advantage of wireless bar the fact you don't have to get an installer round? Beolab: Does Naim 5 pol cable work and fit with B&O???? Regards I haven't used the specific NAIM cables, but the ones I bought from Flashback are intended for NAIM/QUAD equipment, and fitted my Beomaster 7000 and Beolab 5000 perfectly. I'm using RCA PHONO male>5-pin DIN plugs from one DAC to the Beomaster 7000 AUX; and a 5-pin DIN>RCA

Chris: You could give a try at NEUTRIK, they have gold plated din connectors. But it will be difficult to get them, most shops don't sell DIN connectors anymore, its a outdated connector from the '70. Well, don't tell NAIM that. You're right in that DIN connectors aren't used as much by other manufacturers, but NAIM swears by them

I have this "vision" of a bloke who has spent $14.500 on two one meter lengths of interconnects placing a call to have his audio system voodoo'd from afar. "I'll be damned if it doesn't sound better now!"
