The BS9000 is only suitable for use with active speakers unless you plan to use a separate amplifier. Please clarify.

Have a look at www.beotech.co.uk which has various pin out diagrams. Which B&O speakers are you going to use? In fairness though it would be much less hassle to buy a DIN-RCA adapter lead and a 3.5mm-DIN adapter lead from one of the sellers on eBay or similar.

As far as I am aware, the mod can be done via the service menu using the remote. Broadcast standards are different in the UK from the rest of Europe and even the European mainland countries can not agree. The local service engineer can change the BV3 from I(the UK standard) to B/G (the standard used in spain). Should take no more than 5 minutes.

It probably would but I can't quite get my head around how practical the control system would be! You don't need a MCL/ML converter Better to buy a Type 1611 Masterlink converter on ebay for around £50 and do the job properly.

Bingo: Siemens has it, Philips has it. Isn't time B&O comes up with it? Talk sense man, they would hardly recoup their development costs unless they re-badged somebody elses. Do you really want them to go down that road again?
