Maybe it's the ABR's being free that makes it possible to sounds so awesome outdoors, and keep a coherent level of bass. The sound muddles when you turn them up in a confined space.

I reckon there were too many founder memberships, the exclusivity has worn off, but the good thing was that it urged others to upgrade using an effective sales technique! I can see that they are finally all gone!

If you can, hunt down a DAB beocentre 2300???? Then you could swap the clamper, so it looks like a one of a kind BS3000! Gee you'd have to be lucky to find one though hey

Like me an intel iMac user, drag and drop is still possible. I open the SD folder with a USB 2.0 card reader and go into macintosh HD and search through the music files, then drag and drop the files into the sd. It is an unpleasant way of doing it, but once it's all sorted, you have the most gorgeous sounding and looking mP3 player

Bulgarien: Try to ask real hi-fi freaks There is no doubt that gold connektions makes a differense. Today I use 5 pin DIN gold plug (and then make it to a 8 pin for the signal display (a litle difficult) together with a SUPRA dual signal cable that are connekted to my ICE power 1000ASP amplifiere with RCA plugs that drive my Penta´s. VERY cool, you must be feeding those speakers steroids, because you always have wacky stories with your BL3's, and people vowing to buy a pair!

Just take it back to your dealer and ask for help, both of mine broke off, a design flaw IMHO! Easily fixed.

It's not the sound, it's everything else about a cassette, rewinding and fast forwarding it, opening it's case and clunking it into the player, eargh!

Ray this is an absolute stormer of a stereo you're putting together here, I truly love the Beosystem 4500's design and those BL4500's look fabulous (as long as they aren't pink - yeesh!), maybe you could get a cona to compliment them also?

- A.AUX with STB - CD & SD Equal (prefer CD sometimes) - Radio, but there is rarely anything decent on - Will begin listening to vinyl the second i have a turntable and a collection of records - Cassettes were dreadful IMHO
