Superb sounding speakers John but they really do take up a lot of space. You say this isn't an issue but they do take up a huge ammount of room whether you wall or floor mount them - providing you can find a wall substantial enough to mount the beasts on! Refoaming these aren't as straight forward as some speakers as the tolerances on the coils

It's a difficult one to answer beaker as there seem to be huge price variations from dealer to dealer. It also depends on whether they do their own work in-house or farm out to another service/repair centre (as my dealer does). The economy of the repair depends on how much you pay for it in the end I suppose and whether you tackle it yourself.. It is most likely that the drawers are either stuck or that the cords have come off of the pulleys.
