  • Re: mx4000 Turning off

Peter, You may be correct in having two problems, but I am focused on the lack of "Standby" light and it is clear from your voltage results that having 0 volts across C3 is the reason you do not have the standby light and why it will not switch on. The voltage across C1 needs to be 8 volts to allow the regulator IC1 to produce the 5 volts

  • Re: Testing the new version 4.65 of Beoport

Officially, that's has always been B&O's statement. However, many members have still tried it with Vista and got it working subject to changing some parameters in Windows Vista

Pete, Frankly, I have not had time to complete the tests on all configurations, but I have managed to get it to run correctly under two Vista configurations provided you switch off several Vista facilities which effectively then makes it look like Windows XP to the program.

  • Re: Beo4/5 and Sky+ commands error

Gavin, You are right it does sound like the STB-C, it could be that the module has developed a fault which is possible, but I suggest before you go down that route you switch the TV off at the mains and leave it for 15 minutes and then switch it back on and see if you still have the problem. If you do, then perhaps the STB-C module has developed a fault

Peter, Sorry for the delay in getting back to you on your problem. Well, your feedback looks fine, however the key piece of data you stated at the begining of the thread is that the "Standby" light is not on, so we need to focus in on that. So, check the following:- On module 15 check the voltage across C1 and also check the 315ma fuse, the

  • Re: Beocom 3 isdn to analog line

The simple answer is NO The long answer as I understand it, is that two versions were produced, the North American version which was used with the PSTN (Public Switching Telephone Network) and a European version which was ISDN for some countries. As far as I am aware it was never sold in the UK mainly because ISDN was only really used by businesses

  • Re: speaker switch

For those people in Europe interested in automatic speaker switches, then have a look at Russound HERE This unit is useful in applications where you have say a TV with external speakers independent of your Beolink system and don't want four speakers. A typical example is in a bathroom where you may have installed a waterproof LCD TV (IP56) and waterproof

  • Re: Beo 5 tomorrow

Richard, I am pleased you now have your Beo5. The Beo5 Software Tool has a very large number of Icons for Worldwide TV stations, however it means the dealer has to add each one manually which is very time consuming, that's why I created templates for both Sky and Freeview, so then it is just one click and its done which are on this web site for
