britops: After a week of playing with the new forum, I have to say I prefer the old forum a lot more. (apart from the downtimes) oh, that's surprising. don't you think this is a matter of habitude. there are things i found better on the old forum too, but i think this site is still learning and it will get better and better.

i think this is an old version, there is no bl7, no bs4, and i thing there are many other products missing from the lists.

wen wunderts? kurze frage trotzdem: was wurde an den bl9 kritisiert, was hat den testern nicht gefallen?

i once was told by a dealer that the list was regularly updated. if he recommands a product, he should know if you can controll it via beo4. my former dealer also told me, that he could send a decoder to struer to have b&o add it to the list... never heard of it after though...

i have a bv7 too, but no experience with projectors. but i think there is no problem to connect one to a bv7. check your reference guide, pages 38-39.

peter's advice sure is very wise, but i don't think that any "beomaniac" that has the chance and the cash to afford a pair of 5s or 9s will resist to that chance for a long time.

koning: What's the reason to take another cd player en amp for testing the beolab9??? i think they try to test all speakers in the same circumstances. taking a b&o amp and player for the bl9 and another one for any other speaker would give them a false image and would make it difficult to compare speakers.
