soundproof: How much to the side are we talking? The viewing distance you describe will not present a problem. You notice it when you're standing above the BV8 on its floor stand, or when you're off to either side, walking past. But sitting as you describe, 3m away, won't be a problem. IMO it would have to be either a Beosystem 7000 or Beocenter 9500 . Both two way aswell so even better with a when controlled by a Beolink 7000 . Craig

There was a company that could modify a Beolab3500 for use a centre speaker in a 5.1 setup. Pretty sure they were based somewher in France. maybe someone has a link. Craig

soundproof: you really have to be looking at it straight on and on the level of the set -- if not then the image loses saturation and contrast quickly as you are off on the side. How much to the side are we talking, as this may be a problem. In our Lounge we two, two seater sofas. The TV is opposite exactly in the middle of the two. It will be about
