No you don't need the MCP to programme radio stations, this can be done using a Beolink 1000. You MUST have an ariel attached before you try or you won't have a hope. Let us know when you get a remote and we'll go through the process with you - it isn't straigtforward but easy enough when you've done it once. Ah - the loudness setting

Correct Friedmett, but only MK3 onwards. So if your MK1 or 2 needs a new button mat the PCB will have to be changed too to accomodate the different layout. Chris.

Hi Rich & welcome to Beoworld Is it fair to assume that the cartridges you have seen on line are from www.sound-smith.com ? If so then they really are your best bet by a long shot. Their SMMC4 is far superior to the orignal B&O MMC4, I know as I own one as do other Beoworld members! Not as refined cosmetically but worth every penny though. I

Hi & welcome to Beoworld If you bought them from a B&O dealer then they will replace them without question under warranty. However if you got them cheap off ebay then the chances are they are fakes as most for sale there are. Chris.
