Even if you connect it in parallel, with the Powerlink and Digital cables carrying the signal, the BL5s will pick the digital signal when they detect it. I'm assuming you have a master unit with Powerlink out. I have run the digital signal from my BgCD6500 direct to the BL5s, while also connecting the BgCD6500 to a Beomaster 7000. The Beomaster

I'd go for the BeoSystem 3!

The latest in cable magic: QUANTUM CABLES!!! The TESLA SERIES!!! http://www.synergisticresearch.com/ There are many ways of separating people from their money in high-end HiFi ... Digital is digital - as long as the transfer cable is of the correct grade (usually 75Ohms) and there's a means of defeating potential jitter in the reproduction (usually

Very simple connection job. The RCA connector in the back does carry an S/PDIF signal. Your BL5 came with two digital RCA coax cables. Connect one between the BGCD5500 and one BL5 -- the other cable between the two speakers. You're set.

I just can't see the advantages of it, listening as I am to Test Match Special on my Beolit 600 on LW, and it's crystal clear, so why does the technology need to change when the existing platform serves us so well??? Digital radio is a

Medogsfat: Ray, don't look for sense when it comes to B&O! Chris. OK, that's a keyboard threatening statement - good thing I was only holding my coffee cup, and not drinking any.

For timeless elegance, and as a design expression that will become a talking point whenever you have a guest: 4500. I have a friend who will never part with his. Personally, for some reason, I've ended up being a 6500/7000 guy -- I just like the extreme quality of those.

Alex: I presume you mean Boot Camp? You can do this already with Tiger, but it involves downloading the app. It will be included with Leopard, that's the only difference. No, I was thinking of Leopard, which will have it implemented, and where rumours are you can have both OSs up at the same time. With Boot Camp you can't -- but Parallels lets
