  • Re: B&O Give me a reason...

I challenge you to find better upscaling or picture processing than that in the BeoSystem 3. Sure, the panels aren't as up-to-date as they could be, but to my eyes the picture still seems more natural than other sets out there...

Why buy a BMW or Audi when you can get a Toyota for a tenth the cost? Why buy a beautifully finished house in a fantastic location when you can get something with the same number of rooms in a different lesser location for much less? It should be the same with TVs, HiFi and Computers, but sadly, people just buy things based around the 'features' or

  • Re: BeoLab 9

I agree with beobeo, the bass on the BeoLab 9s is better than that on the 2. Sure the 2 goes louder, but the 9s are far more accurate and detailed. The BeoLab 2 can be a bit boomy at times and sometimes struggles to keep up with fast basslines in comparison to the BeoLab 9s which are about as good as it gets (until you hear BL5s).

  • Re: B&O and flatmates

Never had any issues with my B&O kit and friends, in fact it tends to be the cause of quite a few 'oooh's and 'aaah's when they see/hear it working. In fact I've had my band sleeping over in the same room last weekend, and they in fact seemed to want to talk about the system quite a lot...

Good point! I'll have to think about what I could do with them to make use of the floor stands, maybe have a few inches removed off my desk.

  • Re: BeoLab 9 not magnetically shielded

Ruivar: Hi You're right. The BeoLab 3s are much cheaper than the 9s. And because of my tiny room, I reckon the differences between the 3s and the 9s aren't that big? But the 3s might just do te job.. Thanks for your answers and advice! Ruivar Sure BeoLab 3s will do the job, but BeoLab 9s will still sound miles better. Believe me, the difference

I think I have been a bit harsh on them in the past. With speakers like the BeoLab 3s in the range, it's easy to begin to think the BeoLab 4s aren't anything special, but very few speakers out there manage to make that kind of sound from a cabinet that size.

Thanks Simon! tom: jk1002: Yes, congrats. Treat them with respect and never ever mention in front of them that a pre used set of BL4000 might be a better deal .... I think these BL4 will have the best value-price relation there can be. Enjoy them Alex. Are you going to connect them to your Mac? Yeh, I'm gonna use them with my MacBook Pro (got a new

As opposed to when you're drunk and you type absolute jibberish but it appears completely normal!
