Really? You can wave your hand in front of the dvd player and it opens? I thought you had to press a button on the underside of the screen? Which model have you got/which country?

Just wave your hand in front of the machine and the DVD tray will slide open. But is it worth £8,865? Sean Hannam, online editor of the television trade bible ERT, said: " It's bought by people who don't really understand televisions , but who are very keen on style. It's a terribly Eighties, flash-your-cash brand – beloved

You appear to have missed a viable option, a compromise if you will. Dependent on your B&O TV, buy the Beomaster 5 and use the TV as an interface, stick with the 9000. Vinyl was supposed to be dead years ago, I favour the CD personally and the 9000, serviced every 5-6 years is a masterpiece.

Good question, but there are a couple of things to consider IMHO - the DD output from the BV5 is analogue only (I am waiting to be corrected here!) so no matter what you do - by using a splitter or by some means of daisy chaining), any output from a BV5 DD board will be via the Powerlink sockets only. Am waiting to be corrected.

Is it a Bullseye for Kingof Snake??!?! Let's face it, just neeeded pointing in the right direction, if I hadn't have replied first am sure everyone else would have got it.

If you do not wish to use a third party device for control of the IPOD, you can use the camcorder audio sockets - you may need to add CAMC to your BEO4. These are the red and white phono sockets, yellow is for composite video so you do not need that - you may need a cable made up from Sounds Heavenly.........

Usual suspect is that you have switched to LINE (all the way down) - RIGHT is middle position on the switch. This assumes you are just setting them up and that the fault hasn't happened out of the blue with the speakers previously working A OK.
