Also, some of the Beocenter 2300's came equipped with 2-way communication, you can see if this is the case or not by looking at the bottom left corner on the front of the unit. If there is a little IR cover the BC2300 will have the 2-way module.

That looks like some sort of prototype, possibly innards for prototype tv development? Maybe is was accidentally uploaded by one of the web designers or something?

For something period, I'd say Beovox 3000/5000 or Beovox Pentas would be a nice match. Although the amplifier in the 9500 is a little underpowered for Pentas, they still sound nice with this system!

The later BV5's were HD-Ready but they are more expensive to buy used than the non-HD. Fantastic picture either way! I think the 5 is far more of a classic B&O product than the 4 and the built in speakers are great. When buying a Beovision 4 panel you need to factor in the cost of a centre speaker as well.
