I'm wondering if it might be because you have AV5 assigned as "CAMERA." B&O might not have intended "CAMERA" to be used for anything other than temporary connections. Perhaps the "CAMERA" command doesn't allow PUC control? Just a thought. It might be a good idea to try assigning AV5 as something else, e.g. DVD2

Sadly, the U.S. version of the BeoSystem 3 differs from those of the rest of the world in that the U.S. BeoSystem 3 lacks scart sockets (as well as lacking the cable card slot). Also, we don't have B&O video link in the U.S. It seems conceivable that a scart adapter could be made to wire the appropriate scart pins to a mini-rca plug to connect

Is there perhaps some sort of adapter that adapts the scart control pin such that a mini-RCA cable can connect to the IR control of the BeoSystem 3?

Thanks, Raeuber. That's odd that the DVD2 has an HDMI out if the scart is needed for control. The manual even indicates the HDMI out as a way of connecting it to the tv. However, the manual makes no mention of IR control. Have you used your DVD2 connected via HDMI? If so, did you have to also connect the scart to enable control?

Mounting bracket for the Beolab 2500! Excellent.

Anyone? The online manual isn't providing the answers I need.

I'm in the U.S. and have been considering importing a DVD2 from Europe just for the purpose of playing Region 2 DVDs. Also, I think the DVD2 would look great stacked on top of my BeoSystem 3. In the U.S. we don't use scart. Therefore, I would need to connect the DVD2 to my BeoSystem 3 via HDMI. Could someone familiar with the DVD2 answer a few

That is the shortcoming of beoconnect: it doesn't allow one to manage the music AFTER the music has been transferred to the Beomaster. BeoPlayer allows such control, but it is quite sluggish and is not available for mac.

I have three first-gen Apple TVs: one connected to my Avant in the Bedroom, one connected to my BS1/BV4 in the den/home gym, and one connected to the BeoSystem 3 and projector in the living room of my loft. For years, I haven't kept any content stored on the Apple TVs' internal hard drives. Rather, I stream everything to the Apple TVs from my

Perhaps the opposite of that... I use an HDFury to send the video from my BeoSystem 3 to the VGA input of a Sim2 projector. It works flawlessly. It covers the HDCP issue as well. I suspect that an HDFury will become necessary to connect the new Apple TV (with only HDMI out) to a BeoSystem 1. My word of caution: Be sure to pay the extra amount to get
