Sure. You adapt the PL socket using the DIN-RCA adaptor. That gives you a left & right RCA coming off a single PL socket. Then you run an RCA cable to the speaker and adapt it to 3.5mm mono at the end. All should be available from Radio Shack or a similar store.

I don't know first hand because I wasn't selling CD players back when the format was new, but I've been told that the CD was disruptive to the status quo because the new-ness and novelty were the only narratives early on and it took some time to settle down and for people to realize that one CD player could be better than another. There will certainly not be any MasterLink, but this timing will coincide with the release of the NetLink > MasterLink converter that was discussed. Of course that product was not officially discussed the way the Encore was, so there's no way to know whether that's still on track or has also been pushed back.

I've heard very good things about the PV1. It's got ICE Power so that's a plus for anyone who'd feel guilty "stepping out" on B&O.

I'm a US dealer. PM me if you need assistance by phone. Setup should only take a moment or two. Razlaw is right that the products need to be setup to understand their relationship. I.e. the BeoVision 10 will take in IR commands for both and the BeoSound 9000 will stop looking for its own commands and get them over the ML cable from the BeoVision

Just tried this. I don't see any issue whatsoever. Even when I forcibly wobble it it doesn't seem in any danger of bringing the wall down. Whatever that text is from seems overcautious.
