  • Re: BM-Link and iTunes 7.5.x

Yep. All current versions of iTunes and BM-Link and Leopard work well with each other.

  • Re: Mac mini mediacenter

Stan: The part that doesn't work when you have a Mac+BeoPort in a link room is using *just* the BeoPort to listen to master source audio (i.e. CDs, Radio on your BS3000, BS9000, BS4, etc.). You can do this with a PC+BeoPort, but not with the Mac (unless this has been changed in a BMLink upgrade in the last year or so). To do this, you need a Mac

  • Re: Is it worth buying a B&O TV anymore? A thought for the day.

britops: OT. I often skip long posts, anybody else? I'm sure a lot of effort goes into them but I don't have the time for a long read. I dive in and out of the forum several times a day. It's called TL;DR. Too long; didn't read. You see posted after long posts on forums where people with ADHD regularly hang out, like the World of Warcraft

  • Re: BS5 Any news???

I find it humorous when one person bashes Apple for having "a billion" users and the other bashes them for having 5% market share. I find it humorous when Apple comes out with something clever and cool and people here bash it because it's not from B&O... however if B&O had their name on it instead and put a ML port on it they'd

jk1002: Hi Joost I believe other members reported that one can control the Mac via beoport with older equipment when an IR eye is connected to beoport. But that doesnt work through link rooms. Yes it does. I do it every day. the BL3500 is just a cut down BL6000 with an IR eye.

  • Re: Mac mini mediacenter

I have a Beolab 3500 in my bedroom. With the latest software it does N.music and N.radio off of my Mini and I can control it with my Beo4.

  • Re: Bang & Olufsen Rises on Report of Possible Takeover Interest

Ryan: I don't think much of the new Folvos either, given that my family has owned 5 'real volvos'. Back on topic, I just hope B&O isn't taken over by samsung. That's interesting. My family haven't owned anything but Volvos since 1986 and I think they keep getting better. Indeed, they're putting out their best product

  • Re: Bang & Olufsen Rises on Report of Possible Takeover Interest

mobeyone: Mr Lewis's days look numbered and a radical shakeup looks expected in B&O takeover or no takeover. I do think the 9000 will be seen as the thorn in DL's side as he has never really moved on or excelled from this piece and everyone (imo of course) will always judge B&O and moreso Lewis and the 9000 similar to how we refer to

  • Re: Bang & Olufsen Rises on Report of Possible Takeover Interest

Coolskin: B&O Takeover Rumours I don't like the sound of it. It makes me worry. Hope whatever happens turns out well for B&O. To be honest, how could it get worse? Sure they make some nice products, however: They make some junk, too. They take other people's junk, rebadge it, encase them in metal, and sell them for 10x the price. They've
