Darren's method worked for me! Does it actually do anything? At work so no B&O! I take it you need the MLG to receive the signals?
Yes you need the MLGW. A 'simple' accessory that would receive the signals from the B&O iPod app and convert these to those compatable with B&O products would
I think it just depends where you put your finger, it seems the sensitive zone is a bit off to the top left of the icon. If you click on the icon in the center exactly it does not work all the time.
Thanks Phil, I take it all back!! That works.
Open Beolink - press Settings - press Done - press "i" - press Demo mode. Hope this helps. Stefan
Thanks Stefan, if I press 'Settings' it turns blue and I can access the settings menus. After pressing 'Done' and returning to the main page pressing 'i' does nothing, it doesn't

There's been mention of a demo option for this app. In order to 'play' with this app in demo mode, is it necessary to have a MLGW? Hi Brian, the touch feature is usually the first thing to go! When you press 'light' twice I take it the light you are controlling doesn't come on at full brightness either? I was thinking you may have to reprogram the light picture for that that particular light, but if pressing 'light' twice on the Beo4 doesn't do anything
The original concept was planned like that. I remember reading an article where the designer envisoned that you take it off and walk around with at for an example a cocktail party. I liked them more when the designer pushed harder on the engineering people, like they did with the BS9000 which was impossible.
Hi Andy, it may be the belts, but why not try some simple cleaning (if you haven't already!)? The tape path through the machine, the pinch rollers, the heads etc. Worth a try.

Have to agree with you Dave. Yes it's now working 'fine'. I don't watch many DVDs, but it is very fussy about playing discs recorded on my PC but that's abother question! When I was reaquainting myself with it yesterday and reading the manual I found I couldn't access the on-screen toolbar or many of the other picture and sound

Sorry, Sorry! A panic too quickly! For some reason I had the scart plug in the wrong TV scart socket. Don't know how or why but can only assume I'd been sorting the cables and got this one wrong when plugging them back in. Sunday peace of mind duly restored
