I had a chat with my dealer today. He told me that BeoSound 5 will be launched at a press meeting in the royal Opera, Copenhagen, november 11. I also recieved my ticket for the VIP event november 14. It had a picture that showed a piece of BS 5, looked very nice! I was told that danish price is 30000 dkk (BS5 + BM5) He also told me that you can add

It will be launched aprox 3 weeks in Copenhagen. We can order it now and then recieve it marts 09.

Sales of CD´s are going down, at least I know that´s a fact in Denmark. B&O of course have to deal with that scenario and launch products that deals with the way, at least most customers buy / will buy music in the future. That´s also the reason they choose to not launch new DVD´s but a simular solution for video.. BM5 handles

I would love to see Anders Hermansen design other products like speakers and televisions. But other designers are designing new products for Beo, like Steffen Schmelling. At the moment he´s working on new audios I read in a danish design magazine.
