Not to scare you of or anything, but my LX2500 has been in and out of the repair shop several times for this exact problem, they can't seem to get it fixed! Could be my repair shop is useless...

Maybe you can use the 5v from the USB, that way the bl2 is only on when your computer is on...

Hello, Check out this site; http://shop.oneremote.dk/catalog/ They sell cables that you can use to connect other DVD players (or other devices) to a B&O set, and use the Beo4 to control it! Wouldn't that solve your problem without finding a DVD1? Never tried it myself though…
