I went through this exercise last year - I wanted iPOD on-screen menu on my TV and linked TV's and the ability to control through BEO4 from any room. The answer is a bit of a bodge but works flawlessly and appears totally integrate. Onkyo make a dock that gives on-screen display, I bought that and a Lintronic box to convert the onkyo to beo4 codes

I would buy one too - wish list: Hideaway Maybe 2 or 3 AUX 7 Pin DIN sockets as well as RCA - output 7 PIN DIN to DIN - would cater then for AUX sockets with Data Link 3 RCA inputs - currently I have Tape Deck and Record Player on teh same AUX IN socket Affordable I have an automatic SCART selector on my TV which works in the same way and also a Lintronic

I went through my flat last night and found there were 11 items running permanently that didn't need too and 13 lights that are on in rooms I'm not using - have re-wired them so that they're not on when not being used and will be switching off lights when I don't need them. I used one of those computer socket things for the TV so that

Really interesting thread and made me think. At home I have loads of stuff that is left either permanently on or on standby, I started adding them up and realised there's a lot of stuff using external transformers as well - lintronic box etc. I've decided to leave my B&O kit in standby mode but switch off all other stuff at the wall plug

For me it's the design, quality and longevity of the products - home wouldn't feel like being at home without it. It's great looking forward to coming home and having the whoel flat linked and have music and tv follow you round everywhere. I was at some friends houses over New Years and they have just bought a brand new Sony LCD TV with

How do you order the chip? - is it direct from the dealer - mine didn't seem interested in me ordering it and kept referring to an angineer call out - all in all they wanted about £150 - if the chip is only £15 I can install it myself.

I'm all in favour of choice and white is an excellent option - products that will effortlessly compliment the whole classic Danish Rosewood 60's revival trend - would buy it if I could afford I have to admit though when it comes down to handing over hard earned cash I play safe with the black/aluminium option as I'm not brave enough to go

Beovision 3502 Beogram 4002 Beocentre 9300 Beolab 8000 Wish I had the room to keep everything, however I like the idea of building up a collection and rotating the items in use. My new years resolution is to not sell stuff on unless I absolutely have too.

I might be wrong, but I think the 9000 being the first in that range wasn't equipped with Powerlink Sockets so the beolab range wouldn;t work easily. Best bet if that's the case may well be Beovox Penta.
