  • Re: MCL2 Expander

    Ebay.com, Ebay.de or Ebay.de If you are in the US I got a transformer for an expander I can't use. The voltage in Denmark are 230 volts. I do not see alot of Expanders so a daily online search would be the most helpful. Maybe a Beoworld member has a spare one?

  • Re: remote for beomaster 5000

    I'm sorry but a Beosystem 5000 does only work remote wise with the MCP like you got or the 5000 remote which was special for that system/Beomaster. If you can locate the very rare IR controller kit in complete condition then you can use the Beolink 1000, Beo4 and so forth. Keep an eye out on the different ebays as the IR kits do turn up but maybe

  • Re: Beovision AV9000 <-> Beocenter compatibility

    Yes that is correct. The AV9000 was a complete system back in the '90s with full surround Beolabs 6000 and 8000, vhs and the MPAV9000 (Overture). This restricts the MPAV9000 as it works best with Beovision AV9000 and slightly with the Avant. If you got 2 Master Beovisions you can't use the Beovision AV9000 as its only works as MASTER ML. If

  • Re: Beovision AV9000 <-> Beocenter compatibility

    There is plenty of AV9000 around for sale. It just takes 2 people and the willingness to actually go and pick it up besides paying the seller. They are heavy. The centerspeaker is default and always the AV9000's first choice when ever its turned on. Unless the thing you are watching are musically content like a concert dvd of your favorite artist

  • Re: What is stopping you buying B&O?...

    What's stopping me? 1: For my needs I'm old school pre '92 fan audio wise. 2: Beovisions? First I'm not really a TV watcher anymore. My AV9000 and LX5500 are not really switched on much during a week. Maybe once or twice. Second the crap programs and commecial *** based on lousy stuff licenced from US does nothing positive for me. I

  • Re: Very familiar with B & O family but never owned. Need advice on best Beomaster.

    What can I recommend if I had to say a model? It depends on what you want to do and what design of B&O you like. Age and faults is less important as you allready have found Beoworld. You can type in the unit in the search box and see what comes up. Typical questions, faults etc. I began with Beosystem 2000 (mid 80's) by acident. Needed to be

    The Beomaster 3000 is mid '80s to begin with. Its the remote controlled version of the Beomaster 2000. It has its own remote. The experience I had with the Beomaster 2000 also mid 80's were it was a defect unit. It got fixed by a dealer and it worked flawlessly the next 3 years when I sold the complete 2000 system. It depends on room size and

  • Re: My dog thinks.....

    Well this picture is not really odd unless you know the story. Our first king size poodle which we had from 1990 to 1993 was horrible with the cats and if he caught one swing it around in the tale. Needless to say the cats would vanish each in a different direction if the dog was out. In 1993 he got killed by accident. He came to close to the road.

  • Re: How to, cassette to pc.

    I did record from Beogram to Beocord 6000 and then headphone out to pc line in. I've used Audacity to record it. I then put some pictures in window moviemaker along with the audio.
