• Re: A car B&O would have made?

Oh I am quite infatuated with Citroens.. I had a S1 v6, lovely car, even Lee commented on it when he came by a couple of years ago.... I have my CX now, which I love, but sadly that too will have to go as I can't take her with me to Moscow... C6's are nice though. Those TGV-esque seats in the back are quite wonderfully comfortable

  • Re: RL6000 cleaning

Hi Eugene I don't know about anyone else, but I certainly have no complaints. That ABR replacement looks a nice neat job, and it looks like that x-over has had some fun at some time... that resistor has been HOT!

  • Re: Beocenter 4000 system for sale. Bristol, UK
<snip> Of the three items the CDX is far and away the most sought after and must be newer than 1978 as there were no CD players available then! It could fetch £100 - £150 on it's own if it is in mint condition. Simon
Indeed. The Beogram CDX was launched 1985 - the Philips CD104 it is

  • Re: some help needed with a song
I found another song I like. It is used in Citroën's video about their history - you can see it on www.citroen.com. Just click The history of Citroën button. Or you can just click on the link here to hear the song: click
Shazam gets confused by any additional sounds, for example in film soundtracks
Is it just me, or did the "unknown song" thread disappear? Anyway, I found a new one I can't find anywhere. At first it seemed like it was from the french movie Amelie, but I don't think it is on the soundtrack. Here is a sample > click .
Shazam on my iPhone tells me it is Alala Ilali

  • Re: New confirmed products for 2009

Wikipedia has a good page on it all here - should explain it all. In essence it is using the internet for telephone calls. Eventually *everything* will be "over the internet" - web pages like this, tv, voice calls, video calls, mobile phones, your electricity/gas/water meters..... In 50 years the internet will be regarded in the same way as
Recapping both set of my Redlines the 60.2 and the 60's made all the difference in the world. Wasnt really all that difficult. But Mika is correct in stating check your board. The cross on his set looks nothing like the cross on mine. As I recall my caps were 22uf 15 uf and two 6.8 uf for the 60.2 and 15, 10,
I'm sad to hear that B&O will be phasing out it's phone development. Still, I suppose that land-line phones are becoming quite archaic. My beautiful Beocoms are the only reason that I still maintain a land-line. I'm quite excited about the prospect of the new phone utilizing the internet for phone communication
