I managed to buy some automatic strap machine material from a local packaging supply shop, they had 10 metres of 7mm white Polypropylene machine strapping, it was about £10 from memory. Then I used some red letraset to carefully transfer the RL60.2 writing on the strap So don't worry about the strapping, mine definately looks as good as new

right at the end he mentions a rights issue circa 450 million Danish Krone, about 50 million Sterling, so like everyone in high end electronics they are losing money but could have another 50 million working capital to play with soon.

I have an MX7000 in one of the bedrooms at our house, the DVD player only has composite ( same as your Philips DVD player ) , so buying a scart plug with 3 phonos ( yellow, red and white ) is all you need pluged into the back of the MX7000, ours is plugged into the AV2 labelled scart on the MX, we have a Beocord VX7000 plugged into the scart labelled

Graham, you are spot on amigo ! I took out the VCR scart lead, I used the hoover ( with the nozzle on ) and sucked out a fair bit of dust and stuff, could not believe my eyes, carefully re-attached the scart at both ends, and viola - VCR picture back, thank you gents for your time. Peter

I think you are right, the video tape head cleaner did not do the trick, ummm, not looking forward to calling my B&O dealer tomorrow, the whole mechanism + labour, that will be hundreds
