You should not be scared of having your BV10 retrofitted with the improved cooling plates. It was an easy exercise. Agree that B&O should have figured this out before shipping the first units. Regarding clouding, its not possible to detect during e.g a "normal" movie. I would say it does not at all disturb the picture. I do see a few spots

I have one. A 40" model. I think many at this forum have a BV10. It´s a fantastic TV with a lot of possibilities. The design is awsome. If they are worth it? Well, that depends on you budget and if you appreciate a piece of art that will have a substantial value on the second hand market. A Samsung in a few years will not....

Thanks Peter, I´ll may give it a try. Was fairly disappointed that the Velodyne behaved the way it did. Bought it from my B&O dealer.

Just checked the manual for the Canton ASF-75 SC. I assume you have the sub always on, right? I did not have that option with the Velodyne. It was always set to "automatic switch on/off")
