• Re: The unique, one and only SOFTWARE UPDATE THREAD!
Hi Ehlerz I don't think it's because of the distance (unless you have a villa with more than 50m distance). By how much should then the Video (and audio) be delayed in your opinion (BTW, it takes a lot of memory and processor to delay a full hd picture)? You mean it should delay the same as it does for the audio
Hi Ehlerz What happens if you let the sound in the linkroom run thru the ML when watching DVD? That is selecting AV+DVD to get the sound over ML, then the sound is also in stereo. Do you still have sync of sound? But no sync between picture and sound?
Hi Beolion But will this not just give me the sound and NO

  • Re: Mac Mini and BV7-32

Hi Mat Depending on your 7-32 version, you need different things. 7-32 WITH HDMI: DVI to HDMI cable (for picture), a Coaxial cable for sound, A digital optical to coaxial converter, and a mini toslink to toslink cable (for sound). This will provide you with 5.1 surround, but providing 2 channel PCM (stereo) again depends on your tv version. I am not

Hi all Just had my BV 7 MK IV updated with latest build 8.12a. I can confirm that audio over ML is now also delayed so my BL 3500 is now playing in perfect harmony with my Bl5´s. HOWEVER... Only ML is delayed, not coaxial. SO when watching DTV or BD on your linkroom right next to your mainroom, there will still be a sounddelay. I am however not

  • Re: Help needed, no Sound from Mac mini on Beovision 7
If audio is connected through SPDIF to your BV7-40 mkIV, it is possible to listen in linkrooms to DD and PCM signals (note: always converted to analog 2ch).
But how?? Say my mini is assigned to V.mem, i cant get any linkroom sound by pressing either V-mem or AV V-mem. What to do? TIA /Ehlerz

  • Re: Apple TV Sound to link rooms

I myself know all about it. Have a Mini hooked up with hdmi - dvi and digital audio, and cant hear anything in linkrooms. However, as i read the specifics in the new update, the purchased licenses for linkroom tv´s make you able to utilize say the bd player in the mainroomtv watching HD material in your lnkroom. I guess that for pure audio linkrooms

  • Re: Show clock on BV7-40 MK-IV

Just found out that it IS possible to have the clock displayed all the time on your BV 7-40 MK IV The functionality requires entering the customer service menu, and be aware that this is on your own risk. Enter menu and choose adjustments, then set the Clock timeout to 0 and the clock will always be displayed untill you press clock again. Enjoy /Ehlerz

  • Re: Apple TV Sound to link rooms

Hi, i read a little about it at my dealer today, and as far as i know, you should be able to hear music without delay by pressing VMEM- AV- VMEM. The manual for the setup was quite confusing to say the least. It all depends on which linkroomtv you have etc. I will have my tv updated tomorrow and hopefully i can give you the answer afterwards. /Ehlerz
