We have a 'Wednesday Thread' on this site from 7.00 pm GMT. We always have a theme for the discussion which almost nobody sticks to and the only clear rule is that we are not allowed to discuss anything B&O related! Simon

HD Technology is improving all the time and getting cheaper, so there is nothing to be gained from upgrading before you need to. When your sources start being mostly HD, look at it then. In the meantime enjoy what you have. Simon

You might want to change the title of your post, the Beolab 8000 is an active speaker, I think you mean Beomaster! Simon

Sadly I am too far away to nip round and collect them, but I do hope someone collects these as it would be a real shame if they went to the tip! Simon

If you are going to sell the dealer route will not work for you for the reasons above. A 9000 can still fetch 2-300 on eBay if it is in good condition, if you take some time and care on the listing and take some nice photos. They can go for less though! Simon

Unless you are going to watch close up the benefits of HD on a 26" TV will be pretty marginal so I would be inclined to stay as you are or upgrade the whole TV to a larger model. Simon
