I agree with the general sentiment, the products just haven't been good enough - where are the new design icons? I can't think of any lately that stands out from the crowd - possible with the exception of the BEO5. For what it'sworth I had exactly the same problem, I assumed it was because my cleaner did something to it (she uses it when cleaning) but then took it to my dealer in Hampstead (London), who are fantastic, and they said it was a known problem. Recived it back after a week and it is working fine now.

Hiya, you can pick up a beovision 3 on ebay for around £300 to £400, I think they are the most stylish CRT TV's ever produced and the picture quality is arguably comparible to HD (no joke) and the sound is awsome as the whole frame is an active speaker. I spent ages trying to get my Beovision 3-32 to work with an apple TV and then I found this little converter that did the trick, no more black and white pictures!! I know this is cheeky but I am selling the BV3-32 as my local dealer gave me an offer I couldn't refuse for a BV7-40 MkII and I am also selling the converter separately on ebay, search
