I have had the same problem with my S75's. Turned out to be a vibration between the cabinet and the front baffle (the black part that houses the speakers...not sure of the name). Haven't really bothered to fix it....just stuck a piece of cardboard in between the cabinet and the baffle and voila no vibration. With the dust covers on you can't

I always wanted to be able to repair my own B&O. I am able to solder and have replaced entire sets of capacitors on for e.g. a BM 1900. Should the problem be more than capacitors then I'm totally clueless :( Usually capacitors aren't the only problem. My brother is an electronic engineer but he lives in a different country to me unfortunately

It seems to be very ellusive period! We heard about it ages ago but they don't seem to be making much effort to get out there!

I do like to dig up my tapes and listen to them. Unfortunately I don't have time at the moment to make news mixes but hopefully I'll get round to it. First Beocord was a 2400 which the previous owner never used, sound was awesome. Also have the 1100 and 6500(obviously part of my Beosystem 6500) So I'm ALL for keeping those tapes turning
