Yes. You can connect BL6000s to Powerlink out of your BC2300, a Beolink converter to the AUX port and your BL2000 in your linkroom to the Masterlink socket of the BL converter. Independant control in both rooms is possible, but - of course - you can just listen to one CD track or one radio station at the same time via the link system.... Stefan
BTW: "Beo`s "All over the house control" is simple. How do you mean simple?? I understand the beolab 2000's has control by selecting tape/radio/cd etc but is this possible with powerlink as my unit is older or would I need to get adaptors to masterlink?
I mean simple to install and simple
As the wether in April in DK, can be quiete nasty, may I suggest middle or end of May, May is the spring month and beautiful, dont count on me yet, I start counting my nickels.
Thanks to Andy we have a great photo thread called "My trip to Struer". That tour was at the end of april in 2007
Understood. I was using the beosound 8 seperate anyway with an Ipod connected. Surely I must be able to just add a pair of 6000 speakers or similar to my existing beosound 2300. Run 2 extra speakers as well as the beolab 2500's. I just want a simple system without the need for control all over the house. just play

Yes, me too! Count me in, please (and Birgit). Seems that a lot of the old (2007) crew will be there....(?). Date doesn`t matter, just tell me and we`ll be there. Another Struer trip after five years - that`s great! Stefan

I think lausvi is right. Must be the STDBY button. Hide your BL5000, activate your BS7000 manually and get your BL5000. It should set the BS7000 to standby without pressing a button, because it sends a STDBY command all the time, which results in a STDBY SYSTEM command. I had a similiar problem with a BL1000 years ago. It was the VOLUME UP button, which

I think the best solution will be to take the Beolink active with IR eye for the "dining zone" and connect the BL3s to the Powerlink outs of the BL active. Set BS9000 to audiomaster, A,OPT 0 (BS5 to NO AUDIOMASTER), BV5 to videomaster in V.OPT 2, and BL active to L.OPT 4. This lets you control the whole setup as before - all audio- and video
What about the first beolab 5's. I have now Sw 1.62a.....is it possible to upgrade to 3.20A?
Last update of my BL5s also was 1.62a. This was for the chassis without PIN code protection. At the same time there was a sw 2.62a for the newer chassis with PIN code protection. "The PIN code protection has
