It will have a magnetic effect on window shoppers, as they will have to enter the shop to find out what this is - and walk out again with the necessary gear in order for the flute to work... Simply clever marketing and clever branding. Do we need one? Probably not. Do we want one? Probably. And the price? Probably the most clever part. And if you have

Think of a slimmer (less bulk, less frame) BV5 mounted on the wall... Roger

To ease the selection of BeoSound 5 sources for those customers using Beo4, it is now possible in the SETTINGS menu of BeoSound 5 under the point named ROLES to assign A.MEM, CD or RADIO names to N.MUSIC or N.RADIO. This will simplify the remote navigation now giving one-click access to both N.MUSIC and N.RADIO. In addition to better remote navigation

B&O must be very careful when pricing this phone - the iPhone generation will have to google the words "land line phone" and then figure out if they need a phone that only works inside their homes... (and perhaps in their gardens) in addition to their existing iPhone's Roger

First of all - B&O never announced it, these dates are all kept within Struer for planning purposes and are not meant for the consumer or the world outside of the company. If you are considering the BV9, waiting for the the 7-55 could be something to consider (but based on the early reports on the picture quality of the 55" LED LCD it will

The planned launch was for the 7-55 this coming Fall, but they had an internal launch date set for August/September. They have noe "fine tuned" the launch to be Q1/2010, but we do hope they can manage to have it released before Xmas. The main issue will be the price. It was supposed to be priced fairly close to the existing 7-40, but rumours

They are both scheduled for Q3 of the financial year (which starts in June), so that is Q1/2010 in plain English. Roger

I must admit that I do feel that plasma tv's from B&O might be coming to an end in the not too distant future, for several reasons, so the future updates of the current BV4/9 line could be few... one could argue about the design of the BV4/9, but not the picture quality - it is simply stunning without the issues still associated with LCD. So
