LOL! Nice alien pictures! My wife told me my Beolab 3s look like little aliens too!

Just noticed on an ad these high-end (at least in price!!!) speakers from a manufactuer named Salagar. Has anyone ever seen these? Super expensive and self-amplified with ice-power! http://salagar.com/

Yes I would agree that the BL11 is well suited to augment a 2-ch stereo setup or a setup where you don't want the full theater effect. However, B&O doesn't make a good-at-everything subwoofer! The BL11 doesn't give you that deep base and power that you need for a full surround system. The BL2 is reportedly a bit slow for rapid music

I can't help to think that people getting a subwoofer made by B&O now are making serious compromises for design. The specs on this (33-300Hz???, 6.5" drivers, 200W) are strange, and performance is probably blown away by subs 1/4 of the cost.

Yes they are still available...they are around $225 USD a pair I think.
Never mind the look, what about the price!
Yep that's what Frede from Classic Audio charges for a fully restored pair with certificate....infinitely better than this!

Awesome! Thanks to you all!!!

Thanks Peter! I will look forward to seeing the user manual for the Beolit 1000 as it would be wonderful to have a copy.
