  • Re: Has any member ever gone back to older products?

Craig: Is it just me or have any of our members gone back to older products. For example at the moment we have a Beosound 3000, I am serously considering going for a Beocenter 9500. Before we had the Beosound 3000 we had a Beocentre 9000, something Carol has never forgiven me for. Not the reason I am thinking of swapping though. One of the main reasons

  • Re: I'm losing interest. Sorry...

I also would prefer to see more positive and enthusiastic posts on the forum, but we also have to admit that there may be a reason for this current negativity. We all have great expectation about B&O, a brand that we all like (including BOBs), otherwise we would not be here. The negative comments we have seen on the forum would not have been posted

It is true the forum is a bit quieter that usual recently. For me it is the lack of new product from B&O, and the fact that I am not planning to buy anything right now (so I do not need to ask questions). I have a suggestion for the evolution of the site: I'd like to see a B&O wiki. A B&O encyclopedia that we would all build. It would

  • Re: Beolink 70000 query

B&O can replace them, they have done it last year for me, but it cost 100 pounds or so. It was once said on this forum that you could use a pack of normal rechargeable batteries, but it requires some kind of special packaging and you probably need to do a bit of DIY. Try and search the forum. p.

  • Re: Can Beo5 control a Virgin Media STB?

The terrestrial reception is very bad - analog and digital - so flats in the area do not even have an areal. Suprising in the center on London (old street). p.

It would be worth checking if the font is open source... and maybe somebody could upload it on the site for us to download it... p.

vinnie21: Yeah that sounds much better. As you say the laptop solution will work, not sure what they charge for the service tho. Would be good to get the apple tv etc and other boxes that might come into use at a later date, PS3 and Sky HD box just in case you switch at any point. Easy for them to add loads of different boxes and only takes minutes

  • Re: The New BO Museum opens this week!

B&O is doing visits in the summer, there is a date in july and a date in august usually. But it is only a 3 hours visit i think. p.
